It is possible to use a white label domain name (e.g. yourcompanymedia.com) instead of the ISEBOX URL (e.g. yourname.isebox.net) to deliver your ISEBOX content.
First, you will need to decide what that domain will be. The URL format options are:
- YourCompanyMedia.com
- media.YourCompany.com
- YourCompanyWebsite.com/media
This represents only the format. Instead of media you can use whatever you like. If you are doing this on behalf of a client, you will usually require their approval.
Second, make sure your ISEBOX license includes the whitelabel domain feature. If you are not sure, contact your ISEBOX Account Contact or contact support@isebox.com for help.
Third, your domain needs to be set up. Either you will be providing the domain or URL, or we will. Here is how it works in both scenarios:
- BYOD (bring your own domain) - You will either register a new domain or have your IT department do this. This domain or URL to needs to be configured to either forward to the ISEBOX URL (this will not hide isebox.net in the browser URL bar) or set up an a record for and www to 161.47.5.63 which will fully hide ISEBOX from the browser URL.
- We Provide - This is the fastest option however ISEBOX can only provide the white label domain if it is a new domain registration. Meaning YourCompanyMedia.com. We are not able to create subdomains (subdomain.yourWebsite.com) or extensions (YourWebsite.com/media). If a new domain is requested, we can set this up quickly with no reliance on the client/agency IT department. If at a later date the domain needs to be transferred to their ownership, we are happy to work with them to do this.
Once the domain is decided and acquired, we will need to set up your account to allow for this new domain. Please contact support@isebox.com with the domain chosen and the ISEBOX URL you would like it to point to and we will set it up quickly for you.
When everything has been set-up you will see a whitelabel URL Share option on your Content Page.
